Get involved
Want to learn more about the Cradle Hill PTFA and how to get involved? See below! If you can’t find the answer you're looking for or need further help, feel free to reach out anytime at cradlehillptfa@gmail.com.

What events do you organise?
Annual events include discos, summer and winter fairs, wear your own clothes days, break the rules days, pop-up shops for Mother's Day, Father's Day and our Christmas pop-up shop Elfridges. We also support fundraising initiatives which the children's elected representatives ask us to, like the new provision of a quiet outdoor classroom area and teacher requests to enable the school to undertake extra curricular activities they would not otherwise be able to do.

How else do you support the community?
Cradle Hill school is a community school, which means that we as the PTFA always have an eye on how things we do for the school can also benefit the wider community. We want to make stronger links with the wider community for the benefit of the children and parents at the school. We work closely with the school to align out objectives with theirs for maximum benefit in the short and long term.

How can I help?
We currently elect our PTFA officers at our annual general meeting in the autumn term. This is also when people decide if they want to join the main committee. We also have a PTFA lite group which has been very popular for parents who want to get involved on an activity-by-activity basis but not be involved year round. This group is invaluable to making events a success and can be joined by emailing us at cradlehillptfa@gmail.com.
